What caused the massive fire at a South Delhi car showroom?

South Delhi DM Lakshay Singhal stated that short circuit is suspected to have caused the massive fire at a car showroom opposite Saket Metro Station, though exact cause remains under investigation. Emergency teams rescued 12 to 15 people using ladders from adjoining buildings. Seven sustained injuries and were hospitalised. Videos showing horrific scenes at the fire site widely circulated online.
