What changes is SEBI planning that people who invest in shares need to know?

SEBI has floated seven key proposals to improve the closing auction session (CAS) and settlement methodology for derivatives. SEBI proposed using either a combined continuous trading session-CAS method to derive share prices or a CTS-only method and proposed to stop showing indicative index value during CAS. It also suggested revised market timings and a shorter CAS transition time.
