What did you do to us: Assad's cousin to ex-officer on Syria clashes
Syrian businessman Rami Makhlouf, the cousin of deposed ex-President Bashar al-Assad, on Sunday accused former military officer Ghiyath Dalla of sparking recent unrest in Syria's coastal region and triggering clashes. "What have you done to our people?" Makhlouf said. Over 1,000 people have died in clashes, wherein government forces targeted members of Alawite sect of al-Assad.
