Arrested US national Matthew VanDyke recently demanded pasta in Tihar jail. In Tihar, inmates reportedly get tea with bread/biscuits at 7 am while breakfast may include poori-sabzi or khichdi, depending on the day's menu. Lunch and dinner include four rotis/rice, dal and a seasonal vegetable. Each inmate is reportedly entitled to 600g cereals, 100g pulses, 270g vegetables and 20g jaggery.
