What documents does Spain require from Indian tourists?

Indians planning to visit Spain must apply for a Schengen visa. Consulate General of Spain in Mumbai said tourists need cover letter, flight and hotel bookings, bank statements, ITRs and three months’ salary slips. Business travellers require an invitation letter from a Spain-based company, while sports travellers need one from organisers. No transit visa is required for non-Schengen connections.
