In cricket, 'carry the bat' refers to situation when an opening batter remains not out while other 10 players in the team have all been dismissed in an innings. There have been two instances of 'carrying bat' in T20Is. Chris Gayle is the only batter to do it in T20 World Cups, scoring 63*(50) against Sri Lanka in 2009.
