Anna Sebastian Perayil, the 26-year-old EY employee who allegedly died due to overwork, spoke with her friend, Ann Mary, two hours before her death on July 20. Anna's father said she video-called her mother around 10 pm. "She had ordered food...and went downstairs to collect it. But when she was climbing up the stairs, she collapsed," her father said.
