What happened on Dubai-Tel Aviv flight that triggered hijack signal after pilots' clash?

A Dubai-Tel Aviv flight triggered 7700 emergency code, an internationally recognised code for hijacking, after a pilot stabbed another pilot mid-air. Following this, Israeli Air Force fighter jets were scrambled and the plane, which dropped 15,000 ft, was diverted to Saudi Arabia. Passengers reportedly prevented one of the pilots from taking over the plane to allegedly crash it.
