US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping had signed deals worth billions of dollars during their May meeting. China had approved a purchase of 200 Boeing aircraft, but the order has not yet been fully formalised. China had committed to buying at least $17 billion of other American agricultural products annually, but progress on it is not clear.
