What happens if 2 candidates get exact same number of votes in elections in India?

In case two candidates receive exactly the same number of votes in an election in India, Returning Officer resolves tie by a draw of lots under Section 65 of Representation of the People Act, 1951. Winning candidate is determined randomly. Notably, counting of votes for Assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry and Assam will take place tomorrow.
