Pulling out a grey hair does not impact the hair follicles around it since the surrounding pigment-producing cells are still alive and will maintain the natural hair colour. It also does not result in multiple grey hair appearing, however, each time a person plucks a grey hair, it grows out thinner or may not grow back at all.
