What has changed for users in EPFO's upgraded portal?

The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has restored its Unified Member Portal with significant upgrades. Members can no longer activate their Universal Account Number (UAN) or generate a new UAN through the portal. These services have migrated to the UMANG app via Aadhaar-based Face Authentication. The upgraded portal also introduces a simplified UAN retrieval process.
