What is 'AI slop', for which companies are hiring humans?

Several companies are now hiring human employees to fix 'AI slop' that they're encountering when working with multiple AI models, CNBC reported. 'AI slop' refers to low-quality content produced by AI. Graphic designer Lisa Carstens, whose own job was at threat by AI use, said companies are now approaching her to help fix botched logos or designs created by AI.
