What is 'Buggery Act' of 1533 from which Section 377 originated?

The Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code originated from the 'Buggery Act' that was enacted under King of England Henry VIII's reign in 1533. The law defined 'buggery' as an unnatural sexual act against the will of God and man, and criminalised anal penetration and in broader sense homosexuality. Convictions under the act were punishable by death.
