Glaucoma refers to a group of eye conditions that damage the optic nerve, often as a result of increased pressure within the eye. Symptoms include nausea, severe headache and pain in the eye, frequently change of spectacles, seeing coloured halos around the source of light like a lamp or bulb of eyes. Many forms of glaucoma have no warning signs.
