What is hantavirus that has led to the death of a man in China?

Hantavirus which led to death of a Chinese man spreads through rodents and has symptoms including fever. It is mainly transmitted by breathing in air droplets containing fresh rodent urine or droppings. People also get infected after touching something contaminated with rodent droppings and then touching their nose or mouth. US hasn’t seen cases of person-to-person transmission of hantaviruses.
