PM Modi hailed the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) on the occasion of World Wildlife Day on March 3. Launched in 2023, IBCA is an India-led organisation comprising 95 countries, dedicated to conserving the world's seven major big cat species, including tiger, lion, leopard, snow leopard, cheetah, jaguar, and puma. The alliance aims to curb poaching and illegal wildlife trade.
