What is known about AirTrunk's ₹3 lakh cr investment plan in India?

Australia's AirTrunk on Friday announced an investment of $30 billion (nearly ₹3 lakh crore) in India by 2030 to build 5 GW ‌of new data centre capacity. The firm's development pipeline includes ⁠600 MW of capacity projects in the key cities ​of Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. The firm had earlier pledged ₹2 lakh crore for a data centre in Maharashtra.
