What is known about India's first LNG-powered train?

Home Minister Amit Shah will flag off India's first LNG-diesel dual-fuel train (can run on both LNG and diesel) from Sabarmati Railway Station in Gujarat. For this, two 1,400-HP Driving Power Cars have been fitted with 2,200-litre LNG tanks, which can support 444 km of operation each when fully loaded. Railways estimate ₹23.9 lakh in annual savings and lower emissions.
