What is known about Nationalist Citizens Party, which 20 rebel TMC MPs will merge with?

Nationalist Citizens Party of India (NPCI), with which 20 rebel TMC MPs are set to merge to back NDA, is a Tripura-based Registered Unrecognised Political Party. Registered in 2023 in West Bengal, it made its electoral debut in Tripura and fielded candidates in seven constituencies. However, none of its candidates came close to winning. It's set to enter Parliament now.
