What is known about Russia's Sarmat missile, which NATO calls 'Satan II'?
Russia's nuclear-armed Sarmat missile, successfully tested by Moscow, has a higher precision rate and can undertake suborbital flight, giving it a range of over 35,000 kilometres, Russian President Vladimir Putin said. Nicknamed 'Satan II' by NATO, the missile weighs over 200 tonnes and can reportedly carry 10 or more warheads. It has also been designed to evade anti-missile defence systems.
