What is known about super Earth K2-18b that's being probed for alien life?

K2-18b is a super Earth (planet with mass between Earth and Neptune) located 124 light-years away from Earth. It orbits cool dwarf star K2-18 and as per European Space Agency, it's the only exoplanet known to have both water and temperatures that could support life. James Webb Space Telescope found 'strongest' sign of alien life there and it's being studied.
