The Phuket-Delhi Air India plane, which encountered an "altitude upset", was flown by a 34-year-old Pilot-in-Command who was high on weed at the time of the incident. The pilot held a valid pilot licence and had over 5,000 hours of experience flying Airbus A320s, the plane that was involved in the incident. He'd rested for 22 hours before the flight.
