What is Nobel Literature Prize winner Anne Carson's India connection?

Canadian writer Anne Carson, who won 2026 Nobel Prize in Literature, has an India connection through her brother, Michael Carson. He left Canada in 1979 to escape arrest in drug-dealing case and spent over two decades travelling across India and Europe using false passports. He later settled in Copenhagen, where he died. Anne documented his life in her memoir 'Nox'.
