Late DJ Avicii's ex-girlfriend Emily Goldberg died of pulmonary embolism at 34. A pulmonary embolism is when a blood clot blocks a blood vessel in the lungs. It often starts as a clot inside a leg vein. Symptoms include shortness of breath or rapid breathing, palpitations from a fast heartbeat, chest pain, coughing up blood and bluish nails or lips.
