Rapunzel Syndrome is a rare condition where a person ingests hair (trichophagia), leading to formation of a large hairball (trichobezoar) in stomach. The hairball can extend into intestines, resembling hair of Rapunzel, a fairy-tale character known for long hair. Its symptoms include abdominal pain, nausea, and intestinal obstruction. A 10-year-old Mumbai girl was recently diagnosed with it.
