What is special about India's largest privately built satellite, launched by SpaceX?
Mission Drishti, India's largest privately built satellite developed by GalaxEye and launched aboard SpaceX's Falcon 9, is world's first OptoSAR satellite. It combines optical imaging with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). Using SAR, it generates optical-like images even through cloud cover, offering all-weather, day-night imaging. This removes need to align images from different satellites.
