Taiwan has launched a Global Elite Card to attract skilled foreign professionals to the country. This new card will allow professionals to apply for permanent residence within one year of staying in Taiwan. With this card, the country aims to welcome 2,00,000 international professionals. Foreign professionals with an annual salary of more than TWD 6 million can apply.
