What is the 'werewolf syndrome' emerging in babies in Spain?
Hypertrichosis, also called "werewolf syndrome", has been emerging in babies, with 11 cases being reported. This is happening because their parents consumed hair-loss drug minoxidil, as per a new report. Hypertrichosis causes excessive hair growth anywhere on a person's body and can affect both sexes. The abnormal hair growth may cover the face and body or occur in small patches.
