What is the difference between masked Aadhaar and normal Aadhaar?

In masked Aadhaar, the last 4 digits of any person Aadhaar number are visible and the remaining 8 digits are hidden. Rest of it contains other information like name, date of birth, gender, address and QR code etc. Its advantage is that you can easily give your information to others without sharing the complete Aadhaar number.
