What is the Eta Aquariid meteor shower and when can it be spotted?
Eta Aquariids are associated with Halley's Comet. The Eta Aquariid meteor shower is known for its fast speed. The Eta Aquariids get their name from the point in the sky, called the radiant, where the meteors appear to originate- the constellation Aquarius, near the star Eta Aquariid. They are active from April 16 to May 27, peaking on May 5.
