What is the International Big Cat Alliance launched by PM Modi today?

PM Narendra Modi on Sunday launched the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA), while commemorating 50 years of Project Tiger in India. As per PMO, IBCA will focus on the protection and conservation of seven big cats of the world, namely tiger, lion, leopard, snow leopard, puma, jaguar and cheetah. The alliance's membership will reportedly be open to 97 countries.
