What is the main difference between suborbital & orbital rockets?

Suborbital rocket reaches space but lacks the speed needed to remain there, so the spacecraft follows a curved path back to Earth after a few minutes of microgravity. An orbital rocket reaches much higher speeds, about 28,000 km/h in low Earth orbit, allowing spacecraft to circle Earth continuously. Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 recently became India's first privately developed orbital rocket.
