What is the purpose of 'AC' and 'CE' buttons on calculator?

AC stands for all clear on a calculator. It clears the display, resets the current calculation and removes any stored values tied to that session. Calculators also have CE or C. CE stands for Clear Entry. It removes only the last number typed, not the entire calculation. C often overlaps with AC. On some models, C clears the whole calculation.
