What is the situation in Los Angeles amid wildfires?

The wildfires in US' Los Angeles have destroyed 10,000 homes, businesses and other structures. The fires have claimed the lives of at least 10 people and forced the evacuation of more than 180,000 residents. The Pacific Palisades Fire has burnt more than 19,000 acres. At least 20 people have been arrested on suspicion of looting during the wildfires.
