April 7 is celebrated as World Health Day and the theme this year extends support to all the nurses and midwives and the role they play. This year, WHO and its partners will introduce a number of recommendations to strengthen the nursing and midwifery workforce. Nurses and healthcare workers have been providing round the clock treatment amid the COVID-19 crisis.
