What is the 'World Doula Week' that is being observed currently?

The 'World Doula Week' is an annual event celebrated from March 22-28, corresponding to the spring equinox, to empower doulas worldwide. As per DONA International, "A doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth." It was started in 2010 in Israel by childbirth educator Ruti Karni Horowitz.
