Vanishing Twin Syndrome is a condition in early pregnancy where one of the embryos stops developing and is naturally absorbed by the mother's body, the placenta, or sometimes the other surviving embryo. It often has no clear symptoms and is usually detected during routine ultrasound. In most cases, the remaining embryo continues to grow normally and is born healthy.
