What is walking pneumonia, cases of which are on rise in Delhi?
Dr Rommel Tickoo, Director of Internal Medicine at Max Healthcare, said cases of walking pneumonia are being reported in Delhi amid air pollution. It's caused by the bacteria Mycoplasma pneumonia. He said the symptoms include chest pain, low-grade fever, sore throat, weakness, fatigue, rash, chills, cough, sneezing and headache. CDC said staying close to a patient can also cause it.
