What prompted a Maruti Suzuki car owner to file a case over E20 fuel?

Raipur-based doctor Premraj Devta purchased a Maruti Suzuki hybrid SUV in 2024, which stalled after 21,913 km. Devta got the car's fuel tank cleaned, with the workshop attributing the issue to "adulterated petrol". Subsequent breakdowns and workshop visits detected a white, jelly-like chemical layer clogging the tank and fuel delivery pipelines, following which Devta filed a case.
