What security arrangements have been put in place as Maha Kumbh begins?

As Maha Kumbh began in Prayagraj on Monday, UP Police deployed underwater drones that can dive up to 100 metres. The ground has been divided into 10 zones and 25 sectors, each of which is mapped using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Over 2,700 AI-powered cameras have been installed to monitor devotees while 40,000 police officers have been deployed for security.
