What tax relief can people avail if they're living on rent & paying home loan too?

A taxpayer living in a rented house despite having bought a home on loan can claim tax relief for both, according to Moneycontrol. Experts said the taxpayer must fulfil all the conditions required under the house rent and home loan exemptions. Notably, the tax benefits are available to taxpayers only under the Old Tax Regime.
