What was our mistake?: Murshidabad Women ask NCW Chairperson

An National Commission for Women delegation visited West Bengal's communal violence-hit Murshidabad and Malda on Friday and Saturday. “We are shaken by the plight of the local women. They kept sobbing and asking us, what was our mistake, what did we do to face such consequences? We are ordinary villagers. Why were we attacked?” NCW Chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar told ANI.
