The 2009 Mangalore pub attack, in which all accused were acquitted on Monday, related to an alleged attack by around 40 Sri Ram Sene activists on a group of men and women at a pub. Accusing the women who were dancing and wearing western clothes of having 'loose morals', the activists assaulted them and dragged them by their hair.
