What was the glaring hurry?: SC asks Delhi LG on MCD panel polls

The Supreme Court on Friday stayed the election for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) standing committee members. The apex court also questioned Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena over his decision to hurry the elections without the Mayor. "What is the glaring hurry in holding elections? How can you interdict the electoral process?" the SC questioned.
