Toilet Seat Tax is the amount that the government charges from the residents based on the number of toilet seats they've in their house. Recently, the Congress-led Himachal Pradesh government issued a similar notification, stating that it'll impose a ₹25 monthly tax for every toilet seat built in houses in urban areas. However, it withdrew the proposed tax following criticism.
