The Wandhama massacre took place overnight on January 25, 1998, when terrorists allegedly dressed in Indian Army uniforms entered homes in Kashmir's Wandhama. They reportedly asked Kashmiri Pandit residents for tea before gathering them and opening fire with Kalashnikov rifles, killing 23 people. The attack took place during Shab-e-Qadr, a holy night of Ramzan. The case has been reopened.
