What will be the new fines for various traffic violations?

As per the Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill 2019 which was passed in the Parliament on Wednesday, driving without licence will be punishable with ₹5,000 as against ₹500 earlier. A fine of ₹10,000 will be imposed for drunken driving, while speeding will be punishable with ₹5,000. Further, those not providing way for emergency vehicles will be fined ₹10,000.
