What will happen if Pakistan boycott T20 World Cup 2026?

Pakistan have hinted they could boycott T20 World Cup 2026 after Bangladesh were replaced by Scotland. If they boycott, they'll miss out on $500,000 preparation fee. Players will also miss out on prize money, which would at a minimum be $200,000 split across squad. Pakistan will be replaced by Uganda, the next-highest ranked T20I team that originally missed qualification.
