What will happen to UPI, ATMs and bank apps during the Sept 28-30 bank strike?

Bank customers may face disruption in branch services from September 28 to 30, 2026, as the United Forum of Bank Unions plans a three-day nationwide strike. However, digital services such as UPI, bank apps and wallets will continue to operate. ATMs and Automated Deposit and Withdrawal Machines (ADWMs) will also remain available for customers needing cash during the strike.
